SunroofYour vehicle may have a power sunroof. It will operatewhen the ignition is turned on, or in ACCESSORY,or when Retained Accessory Power (RAP) is active. SeeRetained Accessory Power (RAP) on page 2-24.The sunroof controlsare located on theoverhead console.@(Half Open): Turn the control clockwise to thisposition to open the glass panel half way. The sunshadewill open with the glass panel, or it can be openedmanually.P(Comfort Stop): Turn the control clockwise tothis position to open the glass panel about threequarters of the way. The sunshade will open with theglass panel, or it can be opened manually.This is called the comfort stop position. It provides lesswind noise than the full-open position.A(Full Open): Turn the control clockwise to thisposition to open the glass panel all the way. Thesunshade will open with the glass panel, or it can beopened manually.I(Vent): Turn the control counterclockwise to thisposition to use the vent feature. The glass panel will tiltupward from the vehicle. The sunshade must beopened manually.?(Close): Turn the control to this position to closethe sunroof. The sunshade must be closed manually.Anti-Pinch FeatureIf an object is in the path of the sunroof when it isclosing, the anti-pinch feature will detect the object andstop the sunroof from closing at the point of theobstruction. The sunroof will then return to the full-openor vent position. To close the sunroof once it hasre-opened, turn the control to the closed position.2-51
