Turn Signal/Multifunction LeverThe lever on the left side of the steering columnincludes the following:• G Turn and Lane-Change Signals. See Turnand Lane-Change Signals on page 3-9.• O Headlamps. See Headlamps on page 3-16.• 3 Headlamp High/Low Beam-Changer. SeeHeadlamp High/Low-Beam Changer on page 3-10.• Flash-To-Pass Feature. See Flash-to-Passon page 3-10.• - Fog Lamps. See Fog Lamps on page 3-19.• I Cruise Control. See Cruise Control onpage 3-13.Turn and Lane-Change SignalsTo signal a turn, move the lever all the way up ordown. The lever returns automatically when the turnis complete.An arrow on the instrumentpanel cluster will flash inthe direction of theturn or lane change.Raise or lower the lever until the arrow starts to flashto signal a lane change. Hold it there until the lanechange is complete. The lever returns to its originalposition when it is released.Rapid flashing of arrows when signaling for a turn orlane change may be caused by a burned-out signal bulb.Other driver’s will not see the signal.Replace burned-out bulbs to help avoid possibleaccidents. Check the fuse and for burned-out bulbsif the arrow fails to work when signaling a turn.See Fuses and Circuit Breakers on page 5-104 formore information.3-9
