To recall your memory positions, the vehicle must be inPARK (P). Press and release either button 1 orbutton 2 corresponding to the desired driving position.The seat, outside mirrors, and steering wheel will moveto the position previously stored for the identifieddriver. You will hear a single beep.If you use the remote keyless entry transmitter to enteryour vehicle and the remote recall memory featureis on, automatic seat and mirror movement will occur.See “MEMORY SEAT RECALL” under DIC VehicleCustomization on page 3-88 for more information.To stop recall movement of the memory feature at anytime, press one of the power seat controls, memorybuttons, power tilt wheel control, or power mirrorbuttons.If something has blocked the driver’s seat and/or thesteering column while recalling a memory position, thedriver’s seat and/or the steering column recall maystop working. If this happens, press the appropriatecontrol for the area that is not recalling for two seconds,after the obstruction is removed. Then try recallingthe memory position again by pressing the appropriatememory button. If the memory position is still notrecalling, see your GM dealer for service.Easy Exit SeatThe control for this feature is located on the driver’sdoor panel between buttons 1 and 2.With the vehicle in PARK (P), the exit position can berecalled by pressing the exit button. You will heara single beep. The driver’s seat will move back, and ifthe vehicle has the power tilt wheel and telescopicsteering feature, the power telescopic steering columnwill move up and forward.If the easy exit seat feature is on in the DIC, automaticseat and power telescopic steering column movementwill occur when the key is removed from the ignition.See “EASY EXIT SEAT” under DIC VehicleCustomization on page 3-88 for more information.Further programming for automatic seat and steeringwheel movement can be done using the DriverInformation Center (DIC).
