DSP is used to provide achoice of different listeningexperiences.To choose a DSP setting:1. Press the TUNE/TONE knob todisplay the tone/speaker andDSP tabs.2. Press the softkey under theDSP tab.3. Press the softkey below theBack tab to return to the originaltone/speaker display, or wait forthe display to time out.The DSP settings available are:. Normal: Select for normal mode;this provides the best soundquality for all seating positions.. Driver: Select to adjust theaudio for the driver to receivethe best possible sound quality.. Rear: Select to adjust the audiofor the rear seat passengers toreceive the best possible soundquality.. Centerpoint ®: Select toautomatically enable BoseCenterpoint signal processingcircuitry. Centerpoint creates aBose ® surround sound fromstereo CDs, MP3s, and satelliteradio.This feature is not available inAM/FM radio mode.If equipped with the Bose 5.1Cabin Surround sound system,the radio can support theplayback of 5.1 surround soundDVD-A discs or DTS 5.1surround sound CD discs. Whena 5.1 surround sound formatteddisc is playing, DSP optionsavailable are:‐ 5.1 Surround + Normal: Bestfor all seating positions.‐ 5.1 Surround + Rear: Best forthe rear seating positions.System SettingsCONFIG: Press to adjust thenumber of favorites pages, autovolume, and HDD (if available)settings. The FAV, AUTO VOL, andHDD (if available) tabs display. Thedisplay will time out afterapproximately 10 seconds.Configuring the Number ofFavorite PagesThe number of favorite pages canbe set using the CONFIG button. Toset the number of favorite pages:1. Press the CONFIG button todisplay the radio setup menu.2. Press the softkey below theFAV tab.3. Select the desired number offavorite pages by pressing thesoftkey below the displayedpage numbers.4. Press the FAV button, or let themenu time out, to return to theoriginal main radio screenshowing the radio station
