To operate,the ignition must be on.M (Heated Seat): Press to heatthe seat.{ (Ventilated Seat): If available,press to ventilate the seat.A ventilated seat has a fan that pullsor pushes air through the seat. Theair is not cooled.Press the button once for thehighest setting. With each press ofthe button, the seat will change tothe next lower setting, and then tothe off setting. The lights on theclimate control display indicate threefor the highest setting and one forthe lowest.The passenger seat may takelonger to heat up.The heated and/or ventilated seatsare canceled after the ignition isturned off.Remote Start Heated SeatsDuring a remote start, the heatedseats may turn on, depending uponthe outside temperature. They arecanceled when the ignition is turnedon. Press the button to use theheated seats after the vehicle isstarted.The indicator lights on the climatecontrol display do not turn on duringa remote start.The temperature performance of anunoccupied seat may be reduced.See Remote Vehicle Start onpage 2-11.
