Pull the engine cover (2) forwardto slide the rear tabs (3) out fromunder the retainers.4. Lift and remove the enginecover.5. Reverse Steps 1–4 to reinstallthe engine cover.Engine Cover (CTS-V)1. Engine Cover2. Ball StudsTo remove:The engine cover consists of twopieces. Only the larger front pieceneeds to be removed to access theengine oil and power steeringfill caps.1. Raise the front of the enginecover (1) to release it from theball studs (2).2. Pull the engine cover forwarduntil it is clear of the smallerpiece.3. Lift and remove the enginecover.4. Reverse Steps 1–3 to reinstallthe engine cover.Engine OilTo ensure proper engineperformance and long life, carefulattention must be paid to engine oil.Following these simple, butimportant steps will help protectyour investment:.
