Press the brake pedal, but donot shift into P (Park) yet. Turnthe wheels into the curb if facingdownhill or into traffic if facinguphill.2. Have someone place chocksunder the trailer wheels.3. When the wheel chocks are inplace, release the brake pedaluntil the chocks absorb the load.4. Reapply the brake pedal. Thenapply the parking brake and shiftinto P (Park) for vehicles with anautomatic transmission or intogear for vehicles with a manualtransmission.5.
