Main Power Supply1-141 Before You Start Using the MachineTurning the Power Switches to OFFIMPORTANT• Before turning the power switches to OFF, check that the machine is not operating, and that theTransmission/Memory lamp is not on or flashing.1 Press the control panel power switch locatedon the right side of the control panel.IMPORTANT• After turning the control panel power to OFF,make sure to wait at least 3 seconds before turn-ing the power to ON again.2 After the touch panel display turns to OFF,turn the printer unit power switch to OFF.The printer unit power switch is located on theleft side of the machine. Press the switch towardthe [O] position to turn to OFF.IMPORTANT• After turning the printer unit power to OFF, makesure to wait at least 3 seconds before turning thepower to ON again.3 Turn the scanner unit power switch to OFF.The scanner unit power switch is located on theright side of the machine.
