The fol-lowing three modes are available for adjusting image quality. Text:This mode is best suited for making copies from text originals.It works well even if writing on your original is very fine, for example, pencil marks. Text/Photo:This mode is best suited for making copies from originals containing both text and photos, orphoto originals containing halftones (printed photos). Photo:This mode is best suited for photo originals composed of halftone gradations.1 Place your original and press the [A] key.The copy exposure is automatically adjusted tothe level best suited to the quality of youroriginal.NOTE• If your original is a transparency, you may not beable to use the Automatic Exposure Control.
