Registering the stack bypass for a function in Additional Functions (See “When the StackBypass is Registered for a Function in Additional Functions,” on p. 2-28.) Placing paper in the stack bypass and using existing settings. (See “When Placing Paper inthe Stack Bypass and Using Existing Settings,” on p. 2-28.)IMPORTANT• Note the following points when using the stack bypass:- Copy quantity: 1 to about 100 sheets (stack approximately 3/8" (10 mm high))- Paper weight: 16 to 32-lb. bond (60 to 128 g/m 2 )- Curl down paper before use.- There are some types of paper stock whose copy settings meet the above specifications but cannot befed in the stack bypass.NOTE• Two-sided copying is not available when using transparencies, envelopes, labels, or heavy paper(paper heavier than plain paper (30 to 32-lb. bond) (128 g/m 2 )).
