Pattern ditheris fast and produces output of good quality, especiallyif printing large regions of a single color.Halftone: Select Halftone dithering if you areprinting in grayscale output.Halftone dithering uses a 45° screen patternsimilar to that used by PostScript laser printers.Halftoning is as fast as Pattern dithering, and ittends to work better for grayscale rather than colordocuments. Use halftone dithering if pattern ditheringproduces noticeable geometric patterns or banded output.
