ENGLISHENGLISHEasy Setup and Operation Easy Setup and Operation10About error messages• These error screens may be displayed when performing Auto Setup measurement and the automatic measurements can not becompleted because of the speaker arrangement, measurement environment, or other factors. Please check the following matters,reset the pertinent items, and measure again.• When there is too much noise in the room, the speakers may not be detected properly. Should this happen, perform themeasurements when the noise level is low, or switch off the power of the equipment that is producing the noise for the durationof the measurements.MeasuresCauseScreen exampleq This screen will be displayed when the speakersrequired for producing suitable reproduction havenot been detected.• The front L or front R speaker was not properlydetected.• Only one channel of the surround speakers wasdetected.• Sound was output from the R channel when onlyone surround back speaker was connected.• The surround back speaker was detected, but thesurround speaker was not detected.• Check that the pertinent speakers areproperly connected.w This screen will be displayed when the speakerpolarity is connected in reverse.• Check the polarity of the pertinentspeakers. For some speakers, thisscreen may be displayed even thoughthe speakers are properly connected. Ifso, select “Skip0”.e This screen will be displayed when accuratemeasurements cannot be made due to the inputlevel of the microphone being too high.• Set up the speakers so that their positionis farther away from the listeningposition.• Lower the volume of the subwooferspeaker.r This screen will be displayed when themeasurement microphone is not connected.• Connect the measurement microphoneto the microphone connector.Check of the measurement results1 Press the CURSOR DD or HH button to select anitem, then press the ENTER button.2 Press the ENTER button.• The verification screen appears.3 Press the ENTER button again once you havechecked the results.Example: Speaker Config.
