29ENGLISH3Turning the VIDEO MODE knob.• The modes described below will appear on thedisplay.Select the item you wish to set and press theselect knob to define it.PICTURE MODEIt is possible to select between five modes atwhich picture quality settings are stored (M1 toM5) as well as the standard settings set uponshipment from the factory. (See pages 26~28.)PROGRE. MODE (PROGRESSIVE MODE)The optimum progressive video output for theimages stored on the DVD can be set. (Defaultsetting – video setting – simple progressive modesetting)TV TYPESQUEEZE MODEThe various modes that are selected in the VIDEOMODE are temporary changes.
