System Options MenuPage 61Quick OmitYes – Allows users to omit a zone that is active while the user is setting the system. Thezone must have the Omittable attribute (see page 31).No – Users must use the Omit menu to omit a zone that is active before they can set thesystem.User Code ReqdYes – After entering the installer code, the system prompts for a user code before allowingaccess to the Installer menu.No – You can access the Installer menu simply by keying in the installer code.Note: If you select this value, the control unit no longer complies with EN50131. Thisvalue complies with PD6662 only if the user has given written consent.2 Way RepliesUse this option to decide whether the control unit can send status messages to a two-wayremote control unit (FOB-2W-4B).2W Set InstantUse this option to specify how a two-way remote control unit (FOB-2W-4B) sets thesystem.Yes – The partition or system sets instantly when the user operates the FOB-2W-4B.No – The partition or system follows the setting mode programmed for it in Partitions orSetting Options (see page 49).Duress EnableSelecting Yes allows master users to assign the Duress user type to users.A duress code can set and unset the system in the same way as a normal user. However,each time the code is used, the control unit triggers any output configured as type Duress,and (if applicable) communicates Duress and Set/Unset events.Set Status TimeoutThis option determines how long the display at the control unit will show the set status.Selecting Yes causes the display to show the set status for 30 seconds after a set orunset. Selecting No causes the display to show the set status at all times.System Status TimeoutThis option determines how long the navigation key at the control unit will illuminate afterany key press. Selecting Yes causes the navigation key to illuminate for 30 seconds afterany key press. Selecting No causes the navigation key to illuminate at all times.User ResetThis option determines under what circumstances a user or the installer can reset thesystem after an alarm.Zone AlarmsThis appears when System Options – Confirmation – Confirmation Mode is set to Basic(page 62).
