Enter any four-digit CSID (Central Station ID) code other than 0000 toenable the feature. The CSID code is normally supplied by the ARC and identifies thecontrol unit to the ARC.When an alarm occurs that requires an Installer reset:1. A user can silence sounders and sirens in the normal way.2. When the user attempts to reset the alarm, the control unit prompts the user to callthe ARC and quote a 4-digit number.3. The user calls the ARC, provides the number and asks for a code to reset thesystem.4. If satisfied with the user's identity, the ARC provides the code to the user.5. The user enters the code to reset the system.Silence AlertsThis option controls the length of time that internal sounders give the alert tone (a brief‘beep’ every second) when there is an alert.Note: The control unit will not show alerts while the system is set.User CodeInternal sounders give the tone until a user keys in an access code to acknowledgethe alert.30/60/120 minutesInternal sounders give the alert tone for the selected time. The status LEDs on thenavigation key stay on for the selected time. The alert tone stops if a user enters avalid access code.No Alert TonesInternal sounders give no alert tone. The red LEDs around the navigation key glow toshow that there is an alert.
