Your presentcourse over ground is indicated at the top of the com-pass ring. The direction of the destination (bearing)relative to the course over ground is indicated by anarrow in the middle of the compass ring and a bearing“bug” on the outside of the compass ring.If the arrow points up, you are going directly to thewaypoint. If the arrow points any direction other thanup, turn toward the arrow until it points up, then con-tinue in that direction.Setting up the Compass PageYou can change the data fields and the layout of theCompass page. You can also display a Course Pointerwith a course deviation indicator (CDI) scale.To show the course pointer:1. Open the Compass page and press MENU.2. Highlight Course Pointer and press ENTER.The Course Pointer with a Course Deviation Indicator(CDI) replaces the Bearing Pointer. If you drift awayfrom your course (route), the pointer provides graphicindication of your drift (right or left).
