Adding Options 7-7Use the following steps to replace the cover.CAUTION: To prevent damage to system cables,carefully tuck the cables out of the path of thecover.1. Align the cover over the unit, about one inch in back ofthe front panel, then set the cover down on the unit.2. Align the bottom edges of the cover inside the base ofthe system.Press in on both sides of the cover then slide it in to meetthe front panel.Check that the key lock flange on the back of the coveris inserted into the back of the chassis.3. Secure the cover with the four screws previously re-moved.4. Connect the monitor, keyboard, mouse, and any otherexternal options to the rear of the system unit.5. Plug in your power cables.6. If desired, lock the cover to the chassis.EXPANSION BOARDSYou can add PCI, Plug and Play ISA, EISA, and non-Plugand Play ISA expansion boards to your system.The PCI and Plug and Play ISA boards are configuredthrough the ECU utility. Once the system is turned on afterinstalling a PCI board, the utility automatically configuresinterrupts, DMA channels, I/O space, and other parameters.Plug and Play ISA boards are also automatically configuredif a Plug and Play operating system (O/S) is installed.
