Scrub System304Service Manual – CS7000Brush Current Sensor• J7-24 provides +5 volts to the Brush Current Sensor.• J7-25 provides battery ground (B-) to the Brush Current Sensor.• The Input from the Brush Current Sensor provides the Brush Current Sense signal to J7-27 on the A1Controller Board. The A1 Controller Board uses this current value to run the Scrub Deck Actuator MotorM11 in the appropriate direction to either raise or lower the scrub deck to maintain the total scrub motorcurrent draw within the prescribed range for the selected scrub pressure.Component LocationsScrub Motor AssembliesThe left-hand and center Scrub MotorAssemblies are mounted on the DeckWeldment. The right-hand Scrub MotorAssembly is mounted on the Arm Weldmentbolted to the Deck Weldment. The Right-angle Gearboxes are mounted on spacersto position them correctly on the Deck andArm Weldments.Right Scrub Arm Gas Spring andLever Arm BracketThe Gas Spring keeps the right ArmWeldment and attached Side SqueegeeAssembly extended outward duringnormal scrubbing, but will allow theArm Weldment to pivot backward if theright-hand Side Squeegee Assembly hitsan object or obstacle. This provides somecompliance to prevent damage to the SideSqueegee Assembly. To release the Gas Spring to pivot the rightArm Weldment backward for service ormaintenance proposes, pull the top of theLever Arm Bracket toward you and swingthe Arm Weldment backward.Scrub MotorAssembly (3)ArmWeldmentSide SqueegeeAssembly (2)Right-angleGearbox (3)DeckWeldmentFront GasSpringLever ArmBracket
