Connect the power cord.4. Connect to the Access Gateway (AG). There are two ways to connect to the Access Gateway(AG): Serial Connection:Connect the RJ45 console cable to the product’s console port and the DB9 female to your computer.Start a HyperTerminal (or equivalent) session to communicate with the AG via the product’s consoleinterface. Use the following configuration settings for your session:Bits per Second Data Bits Parity Stop Bits Flow Control9600 8 None 1 None Subscriber-side Ethernet Connection:Connect an Ethernet cable between the product’s Eth1 port and your computer’s Ethernet port.5. Setup a SSH client to establish a SSH session to communicate with the NSE gateway via theadministrative IP address after the Access Gateway finishes powering up. The administrative IPaddress is 172.30.30.172.IP Address 172.30.30.173Netmask 255.255.0.0Gateway 172.30.30.172DNS (If Required) 4.2.2.16. Turn on the product. You can then configure the WAN for a static IP address, DHCP Client or PPPoE clientusing appropriate configuration guidelines that follow in order to obtain the license key.
