MPS930b User’s Guide> 126The printer is notconnected.Cause 1 On the Macintosh, the printer is notselected correctly in the Chooser. Or, theprinter is processing another job.Verification 1 Check that the printer is selectedcorrectly on the Macintosh. If the printeris processing another job, the job mustbe completed before the printer can beconnected.Action 1 If the printer is still not connectedthough it is selected correctly and is notprocessing another job, check thefollowing causes.Cause 2 The EtherTalk port of the printer is setto [Disable]. Or, the Start/Stop settingfor EtherTalk has been set to Off by thePostScript command. Or, the printer isin the offline statusVerification 2 Check that the port used is set to[Enable] and that the Start/ Stopsetting is set to [Start]. Check whetherOff-line is displayed on the printerOperator Panel.Action 2 If the printer still cannot be connectedalthough all the above conditions arenormal, contact service.CAUSE TREATMENT
