46User’s GuideReceiving faxes into memoryYour fax machine automatically receives messages into memory and doesnot immediately print them in the following situations.Memory receptionWhen your fax machine has been set to Memory Reception mode [MEM],any received faxes are stored in the memory of your fax machine and arenot automatically printed. The display shows MSG. IN MEMORY if anyfaxes have been received during memory reception mode.When you change the reception mode of your fax machine, any non-confidential fax messages stored in memory are automatically printed.No paper receptionWhen your fax machine has run out of paper, a MSG. IN MEMORY,REPLACE PAPER message appears on the display. Your fax machinecontinues to receive faxes into memory when it has run out of paper. Yourfax machine automatically prints out any messages received in memorywhen the paper is replaced and the Stop key is pressed.Note:You can also print out these messages using themethod described in No Toner Reception, below.No toner receptionWhen your fax machine is running low on toner, it displays a TONERLOW, REPLACE TONER CART. message. Rather than risk printing anunreadable message, your fax machine automatically receives faxes intomemory.If your fax machine has received a message in memory because toner islow, MSG. IN MEMORY appears on the display. To print out a messagestored in memory when toner is running low, follow the instructionsbelow.1. Press the Select Function key.2. Press the 10/Message Print From Memory One Touch key. Thedisplay shows 1:PRINT MEMORY MSG.?
