Buy a newbattery.∫ Charging conditions• Charge the battery in a temperaturebetween 10 oC to 35 oC (50 oF to 95 oF).(The battery temperature should also bethe same.)• The performance of the battery maytemporarily deteriorate and the operatingtime may become shorter in lowtemperature conditions (e.g. skiing/snowboarding).• The battery may swell and its operatingtime may become shorter as the numberof times it is charged increases. For longterm battery use, we recommend you donot frequently charge the battery before itis exhausted.Inserting andRemoving the Card(optional)/the Battery• Check that this unit is turned off.• Prepare a card. (optional)• You can record or play back pictureson the built-in memory when you arenot using a card.1 Slide the release lever in thedirection of the arrow and openthe card/battery door.• Always use genuine Panasonicbatteries (DMW-BCE10PP).• If you use other batteries, we cannotguarantee the quality of this product.2 Battery:Insert it fully being careful aboutthe direction you insert it.Pull the lever A in the direction ofthe arrow to remove the battery.Card:Push it fully until it clicks beingcareful about the direction youinsert it.To remove the card, push the carduntil it clicks, then pull the cardout upright.B: Do not touch the connection terminalsof the card.• The card may be damaged if it is notfully inserted.3 1:Close the card/battery door.2:Slide the release lever in thedirection of the arrow.• If the card/battery door cannot becompletely closed, remove the card,check its direction and then insert itagain.AB
