(P41)Select this to take pictures of yourself.∫ Technique for Self portrait modePress the shutter button halfway to focus.The self-timer indicator lights up when youare brought into focus. Making sure youhold the camera still, press the shutterbutton fully to take the picture.• The subject is not focused when theself-timer indicator is blinking. Make sureto press the shutter button halfway againto focus.• The recorded picture automaticallyappears on the LCD monitor for reviewing.Refer to P28 for information about usingthe review function.• If the picture is blurry due to the slowshutter speed, we recommend using the2 second self-timer.• The focus range is about 30 cm (0.98 feet)to 70 cm (2.30 feet).• You can take a picture of yourself withaudio (P61). If you do this, the self-timerindicator will light up while recording theaudio.• When you select [SELF PORTRAIT], thezoom magnification is automaticallymoved to Wide (1k).• The self-timer can only be set to off or2 seconds.
