Advanced (Recording pictures)34VQT1J82∫ Canceling settingIf you press and hold [LCD MODE] againfor 1 second the screen shown in step 2 isdisplayed. Select [OFF] to cancel a setting.• High angle mode is also canceled if youturn the camera off or power save mode isactivated.• The brightness of the pictures displayedon the LCD monitor screen are increasedin Auto Power LCD, Power LCD and Highangle modes. Therefore, some subjectsmay look different on the LCD monitor.However, this does not affect the recordedpictures.• The LCD monitor automatically returns tonormal brightness after 30 seconds whenrecording in Power LCD mode. Press anybutton to make the LCD monitor brightagain.• If the screen is difficult to see because oflight from the sun etc. shining on it, useyour hand or another object to block thelight.• Auto Power LCD and High angle modeare not activated in the following cases.– When the clipboard is playbacked inclipboard mode [ ]– In playback mode [ ]– In print mode [ ]– While the menu screen is displayed– While the review screen is displayedTaking Pictures usingthe Built-in FlashA Photo flashDo not cover it with your fingers or otherobjects.∫ Switching to the appropriate flashsettingSet the flash to match the recording.1 Press 1 [ ].2 Press 3/4 to select a mode.• You can also press 1 [ ] to select.• For information about flash settings thatcan be selected, refer to “Available flashsettings by recording mode”.
