An alarm that necessitates animmediate stop will prompt the operation A, an immediate stop, if the setting value is 4, 5, 6 or 7. An alarm thatdoes not require an immediate stop will result in the actions specified with the operation B; i.e. either application ofthe dynamic brake (DB) or free-run.
