The certificate musthave a valid host designation.• Each user must add the CA certificate (or a copy of self-signedcertificate) to the Trusted Root CA store in their browser.Proxy Server Configuration for Use with VKC, VKCS, and AKCWhen the use of a Proxy Server is required, a SOCKS proxy must also beprovided and configured on the remote client PC.Note: If the installed proxy server is only capable of the HTTP proxyprotocol, you cannot connect.To configure the SOCKS proxy:1. On the remote client PC, select Control Panel > Internet Options.a. On the Connections tab, click 'LAN settings'. The Local AreaNetwork (LAN) Settings dialog opens.b.
