Appendix E: Informational Notes457Changing a USB Profile when Using a Smart Card ReaderThere may be certain circumstances under which you will need tochange the USB profile for a target server. For example, you may need tochange the connection speed to "Use Full Speed for Virtual Media CIM"when the target has problems with the "High Speed USB" connectionspeed. When a profile is changed, you may receive a New Hardware Detectedmessage and be required to log in to the target with administrativeprivileges to reinstall the USB driver. This is only likely to occur the firstfew times the target sees the new settings for the USB device. Afterward, the target will select the driver correctly.Video Mode and Resolution NotesVideo Image Appears Dark when Using a MacIf you are using a Mac ® with an HDMI video port and the video seems toodark, enable DVI Compatibility Mode on the CIM to help resolve the issue.SeeConfiguring CIM Ports (on page 104)Video Shrinks after Adjusting Target ClockOn HP® Proliant ® DL380p G8 target servers, certain resolutions causethe target video to shrink.
