Components29LOCKWhen the lock button on the remote controltransmitter is pressed briefly, the beepersounds once. This indicates the lock mode isselected and the engine cannot be started.The lock mode is selected only when themain switch is in the “ ” (off) position. Theengine cranks but cannot be started while theYamaha Security System is in the lock mode.UNLOCKWhen the unlock button on the remote con-trol transmitter is pressed briefly, the beepersounds twice. This indicates the unlock modeis selected and the engine can be started.EMU26182Remote control boxThe remote control lever actuates both theshifter and the throttle. The electrical switch-es are mounted on the remote control box.EMU26191Remote control leverMoving the lever forward from the neutral po-sition engages forward gear. Pulling the leverback from neutral engages reverse.
