Components34EMU26092Main switchThe main switch controls the ignition system;its operation is described below. “ ” (off)With the main switch in the “ ” (off) posi-tion, the electrical circuits are off, and the keycan be removed. “ ” (on)With the main switch in the “ ” (on) position,the electrical circuits are on, and the key can-not be removed. “ ” (start)With the main switch in the “ ” (start) po-sition, the starter motor turns to start the en-gine. When the key is released, it returnsautomatically to the “ ” (on) position.EMU26113Steering friction adjuster (if equipped)A friction device provides adjustable resis-tance to the steering mechanism, and can beset according to operator preference. An ad-juster lever is located on the bottom of the til-ler handle bracket.To increase resistance, turn the lever to theport side “A”.To decrease resistance, turn the lever to thestarboard side “B”.WARNINGEWM00041Do not overtighten the friction adjuster.
