Thismay adversely affect the lubricating propertiesof the engine oil.NEVER overfill. Overfilling may result in whiteexhaust smoke, engine overspeed or internaldamage.CAUTIONOnly use the engine coolant specified. Otherengine coolants may affect warranty coverage,cause an internal buildup of rust and scaleand/or shorten engine life.Prevent dirt and debris from contaminating theengine coolant. Carefully clean the radiator capand the surrounding area before you remove thecap.NEVER mix different types of engine coolants.This may adversely affect the properties of theengine coolant.CAUTIONIdentify all parts and their location using anappropriate method. It is important that all partsare returned to the same position during thereassembly process.CAUTIONAny part which is found defective as a result ofinspection or any part whose measured valuedoes not satisfy the standard or limit must bereplaced.CAUTIONAny part determined to not meet the servicestandard or limit before the next service, asdetermined from the state of current rate of wear,should be replaced even though the partcurrently meets the service standard limit.CAUTIONRemove or install the high-pressure fuelinjection lines as an assembly wheneverpossible. Disassembling the high-pressure fuelinjection lines from the retainers or bending anyof the fuel lines will make it difficult to reinstallthe fuel lines.CAUTIONDo not loosen or remove the four bolts retainingthe fuel injection pump drive gear to the fuelinjection pump hub. Do not disassemble the fuelinjection pump drive gear from the hub. Correctfuel injection timing will be very difficult orimpossible to achieve.
