START-UPZEISS Mounting standard components Axiolab 556 430037-7444-001 05/20193.1.5 Inserting and removing P&C reflector modules in/from the reflector turretThe reflector turret with four positions is firmly installed in the reflected light illumination module forfluorescence or materials stands.The modules must be inserted and removed from the front after removing the cover cap.Inserting a module:• Remove the cover cap (Fig. 3-7/4) from thestand towards the front.• Insert the module (Fig. 3-7/2) as illustratedtogether with the retaining brackets on theright and left (Fig. 3-7/3) diagonally from belowinto the upper spring clips (Fig. 3-7/1) of thereflector turret.• Then apply pressure to the module from belowuntil it also securely engages with the lowerspring clips of the reflector turret.The position number of the P&C module isshown on the right hand side of the reflectorturret adjacent to the position of the respectiveP&C module.• Apply the supplied stickers with the filtercombination data of the respective module tothe corresponding field of the cover cap(Fig. 3-7/5, positions 1 to 4).Removing a module:• Slightly tilt the module in order to detach itfrom the lower spring clips, then from theupper spring clips of the reflector turret.• Once the reflector modules have been installed /removed, refit the cover cap. The cover capshould be fitted onto the stand as straight aspossible to avoid the knurled ring of thereflector turret becoming jammed anddamaged.• Apply pressure to the cover cap until theretaining brackets have engaged.Fig. 3-7 Replacing the reflector module
