If using canned compressed air, do notallow liquid propellant to strike optical surfaces, as spotting may result on the surfaces.If liquid cleaning is necessary (e.g. fingerprints), proceed as showed in the followingprocedure.Be careful while cleaning components near painted surfaces. Use small quantities atone time – do not “flood” the instrument. Keep the cleaning mixture clean (do not dipthe dirty wiper into the mixture bottle).Procedure1) Use gloved hands to slide the mirror inupwards direction out of the mirror holder.2) Place the mirror at a clean and flat surfaceand clean it either with cleaning tissues orcleaning swaps.3) Re-attach the mirror with gloved hands, aftercleaning.Fig. 4: mirror cleaning
