Check the SIS for the most current and approved version of this document.3.1.5 Magnification changer (manual/motorized) ReplacementTools and aids: 1.5 mm hex key 3 mm hex key 4 mm hex keyPrecondition: The Power Module has been switched offProcedure1) Support the tube using the other hand.2) Carefully remove the binocular tube byloosen, but do not remove the fixation screw(1.5 mm hex key), see Fig. 14.3) Remove the comfort interface, by loosen the3 fixation screws (3 mm hex key).4) Remove the main fixation screw (4 mm hexkey) and remove the microscope, see Fig. 15.5) Carefully disconnect the cable, see Fig. 16.6) Remove 4 fixation screws at the frontobjective (3 mm Hex key), see Fig. 17.In case of a Fundus VarioView unit, pleaseconsider that the 4 screws are attached tothe magnification changer.7) Carefully remove the Fundus VarioView unit,aperture filter module or camera adapter, ifpresent.Fig. 14: tube removalFig. 15: screw removal of the observation unitFig. 16: Magnification changer cable
