Inthis case, command keywords differences of devices from different vendors greatly increase thecomplexity of device configurations by network administrators. The command alias function can solve this problem. You can replace the first keyword of a commandsupported by the switch with your preferred keyword by configuring the command alias function. Forexample, if you configure show as the replacement of the display keyword for each display command, you can input the command alias show xx to execute the display xx command. In addition, the originalform of the command display xx is still effective.
