Actual signals and parameters10863 TENSION CONTROLS Tension control and PI regulator setup.Note: This group is hidden unless a Tension macro is selected.63.01 P-GAIN 1 MIN This parameter sets the immediate reaction step of the PI regulator.63.01 P-GAIN 1 MIN sets the gain at 65.01 MIN CORE DIAMETER;the gain is linear between 63.01 P-GAIN 1 MIN and 63.02 P-GAIN 1MAX. Typically, 63.02 P-GAIN 1 MAX is set larger to compensate forthe increased inertia of larger roll diameters. The default values give a good starting point for the gain and theyshould not be modified until the correct diameter is on the machineand the machine is running. For example, do not adjust 63.02 P-GAIN1 MAX when the roll is around core. Likewise, do not adjust 63.01 P-GAIN 1 MIN when the roll is built up. Note that too large of a gaincould lead to instability.0.01…1000.00 K Setting range. 100 = 1 K63.02 P-GAIN 1 MAX See 63.01P-GAIN 1 MIN…1000.00 K Setting range. 100 = 1 K63.03 INTEG TIME 1 The default value gives a good starting point for the integration time ofthe PI regulator. A lower integration time results in a more responsivesystem; however, too low of an integration time can lead to instability.10…10000 ms Setting range. 1 = 1 ms63.04 ZERO INTEG TIME Selects the activation signal source for forcing the integration time ofthe tension PI regulator to zero. The PI controller will just become a PcontrollerNOT SEL Function not selected. 1DI2 Digital input DI2 = 1 forces the integration time to zero. 2DI3 See selection DI2. 3DI4 See selection DI2. 4DI5 See selection DI2. 5DI6 See selection DI2. 6DI7 See selection DI2. 7DI8 See selection DI2. 8DI9 See selection DI2. 9DI10 See selection DI2. 10DI11 See selection DI2. 11DI12 See selection DI2. 12FIELDBUS See selection DI2.
