If this occurs, adjustthe pattern while sewing on a piece of scrap fabric that is thesame as what is used for your project.a Attach monogramming foot “N”.b Press , and then enter “99” with the numeric keys.c Start sewing.→ The sewing machine stops after it has finished sewingthe pattern.d Check the sewn pattern.If the part of the pattern indicated in the illustration issewn uniformly, the pattern is correctly aligned.If the pattern is not sewn correctly, follow the stepsbelow to align the stitching.e Press the “-” or “+” key to adjust the vertical position.→ Make the necessary adjustments according to howthe pattern is sewn.* If the pattern is bunched:Press “+” to increase the vertical space in the design.* If the pattern has gaps:Press “-” to decrease the vertical space in the design.f Start the sewing machine and check the stitching.Continue adjusting the pattern until it is sewn correctly.Memo• You can check the combined patterns. Fordetails, refer to “Checking the selected pattern”on page D-6.• To add new patterns, select the desired category,and then enter the number of the stitch.Memo• To finish realigning the pattern, press , ,or any of the numeric keys.• After the pattern is realigned, the patternsselected before realignment are deleted.
