(Refer to “Combiningpatterns” on page D-5.)• If two patterns or more have been alreadyselected, the pattern that was selected last isremoved.• You can delete the entire combined pattern bypressing .Note• Other factors, such as fabric thickness, stabilizermaterial, etc., also have an effect on the stitch,so you should always sew a few trial stitchesbefore beginning your project.• It may be necessary to adjust the pattern,depending on the type of fabric being sewn orthe sewing speed. Adjust the pattern whilesewing trial stitches on a scrap piece of fabricthat is the same as what is used in your project.Refer to “Realigning the pattern” on page D-7.• When sewing satin stitch patterns, there may beshrinking or bunching of stitches, so be sure toattach a stabilizer material.• Guide the fabric with your hand to keep thefabric feeding straight and even during sewing.Fabric When sewing on stretch fabrics, lightweightfabrics, or fabrics with coarse weaves, attachstabilizer on the wrong side of the fabric.
