Specifications, Requirements, and Precautions8 Basler sprint Color Cameras1.3.2.2 Adapting with the M58 x 0.75_/_V-Basler Lens MountThe following example illustrates the use of the M58 x 0.75_/_V-Basler lens mount, connected toan assembly of further optical components, including a UNIFOC 76 helical mount, an M39 x 26 tpiadapter, and an Apo-Componon 4.5/90 lens by Schneider-Kreuznach. The UNIFOC 76 helicalmount allows adjusting its extension over a range of 25.7 mm.The assembly shown in Figure 3 as an example, is adjusted for a magnification of 1:0.3. The overalllength of the adjusted assemblage including the camera (with connectors) is ca. 169.6 mm. Takingaccount of the working distance of the Apo-Componon 4.5/90 lens of ca. 362 mm, the overalldistance between the imaged object and the camera’s back (with connectors) is ca. 531.6 mm.Contact Basler technical support for choosing the optimum lens If you want to use a magnificationhigher than 1:3.Fig. 3: Using the M58 x 0.75_/_V-Basler Lens Mount (Distances in mm)M58 x 0.75_/_V-Basler lens mountV mountV-BaslermountM58 mountM39 x 26 tpimountCameraUNIFOC 76 helical mountM39 x 26 tpi adapterApo-Componon 4.5/90 lensPhotosensitive surfaceof the CMOS sensor1544.0(min. 40.8,max.66.5)55Drawing not to scale11417.1
