To disengage Adaptive CruiseControl, apply the brake. If no vehicle is in your path,your vehicle will react like traditional cruise control.{ WARNING:Adaptive Cruise Control will not apply hardbraking or bring the vehicle to a completestop. It will not respond to stopped vehicles,pedestrians or animals. When you areapproaching a vehicle or object, AdaptiveCruise Control may not have time to slow yourvehicle enough to avoid a collision.
