A-3Optional handsetAOptionsAttaching the handset to your fax _____________________Follow this procedure to attach the handset to your fax.1 Use a ball point pen to remove the twocovers on the left side of the fax. 2 Remove the screws from the plugs andinsert the plugs into the holes on thehandset cradle. Then insert the plugs(with the handset cradle) into the holes onthe fax.• If you have difficulty inserting the plugs, turn the fax sothat the left side is facing you and the right side isagainst a wall. This will allow you to insert the plugswithout the fax moving.3 Use your finger to push the screws intothe plugs.4 Place the handset in its cradle andconnect the line from the handset to thehh jack.• If you have difficulty, use a cross-point screwdriver topush the screws all the way into the plugs. (Do notscrew them in as the screws may break.)
