1-12Loading paper in the multi-purpose tray ________Follow the procedure below to load paper in the multi-purpose tray.1 Open the printer cover using the printercover tab. (see p. 2-2) 2 Press [Cartridge].3 Make sure the paper thickness lever is setto mm (left). 4 Raise the paper rest until it stops aa, thenmove the paper guide to the left to matchthe size of your paper bb.5 Fan the stack of paper that you want tofeed into the fax. Then tap the edge of thestack on a flat surface to even the stack.6 Insert the stack into the multi-purpose trayaa, and align the right edge of the stackwith the right side of the multi-purposetray. Then slide the paper guide snuglyagainst the left edge of the stack bb.• The multi-purpose tray holds up to 100 sheets of 75g/m 2 plain paper.• Make sure the stack does not exceed the paper limitmark (P).12• Do not set the paper thickness lever whilethe fax is printing since this will causeproblems.• The paper thickness lever should alwaysbe set to m (left) for the best printingresults.12
