2-18Automatic diallingSending a document using one-touch speeddialling, coded speed dialling or group diallingnumbers ___________________________________To use this feature you must first register numbers for one-touch speed dialling (see pp. 2-12, 2-13), codedspeed dialling (see p. 2-14) or group dialling (see pp. 2-15 to 2-17).Follow the procedure below to send a document using a one-touch speed dialling, coded speed dialling orgroup dialling number.1 Load the document face down into the AutomaticDocument Feeder (ADF).See Loading documents, p. 3-3.You can set the scanning resolution and the contrast.(see p. 6-2)2 Press the one-touch speed dialling button underwhich the number you wish to fax is re-gistered.-or-Press [Coded Dial] and enter the appropriate two-digit coded speed dialling code.The registered number appears.• If a group is already registered under a one-touch speeddialling button or coded speed dialling code,TEL=GROUP DIAL appears.• If no number is registered for the one-touch speed diallingbutton or coded speed dialling code you pressed, the LCDshows NO DATA. Make sure you pressed the correctbutton or entered the correct code and that the numberyou want to dial is registered correctly.• If you make a mistake, press [Stop]. Then press thecorrect one-touch speed dialling button or press [CodedDial] and re-enter the code.• If an error message appears on the LCD, correct the errorand press [Stop].
