33-42 Performing Setup from the Control PanelAdministrative functions in the Setup menuThe remaining choices in the Setup menu are intended to help you manage print jobsand color output but are not required for printing.• Job Log Setup allows you to specify whether the ColorPASS prints and clears its logof printed jobs automatically.• Change Password enables you to create or change an Administrator password onthe ColorPASS so that casual users cannot enter the Setup menus and changeColorPASS settings without permission. The Administrator password also controlsmany functions available from the job management tools.T O SET J OB L OG OPTIONS :Job Log SetupThe Job Log is a record of all jobs processed or printed on the ColorPASS, whetherthey originate from a user workstation, a networked server, or the ColorPASS itself.The Job Log can be printed from the Control Panel or from the job management tools.The printed Job Log lists accounting information about each job including user name,document name, time and date printed, and number of pages. Windows 95/98/Me,Windows NT 4.0, and Mac OS users can enter job-specific notes that appear in theJob Log. See the Printing Guide for details.By default, the Job Log is not printed or cleared automatically. You can change thesedefaults in Job Log Setup.
