4.19 Parameters: 22-** ApplicationFunctions4.19.1 22-4* Sleep ModeThe sequence when running sleep mode in open loop:1. The motor speed is less thanparameter 22-47 Sleep Speed [Hz] and the motorhas been running longer thanparameter 22-40 Minimum Run Time.2. FC 360 ramps the motor speed down toparameter 1-82 Min Speed for Function at Stop [Hz].3. FC 360 activates 1-80 Function at Stop. Thefrequency converter is now in sleep mode.4. FC 360 compares the speed setpoint withparameter 22-43 Wake-Up Speed [Hz] to detectwake-up situation.5. The speed setpoint is greater thanparameter 22-43 Wake-Up Speed [Hz] and thesleep condition has last for more thanparameter 22-41 Minimum Sleep Time. Thefrequency converter is now out of sleep mode.6. Go back to speed open loop control (ramp motorspeed up to the speed setpoint). The sequence when running sleep mode in closed loop:1. If 20-81 PI Normal/ Inverse Control = [0] Normal. When error between reference and feedback isgreater than 22-44 Wake-Up Ref./FB Diff, thefrequency converter enters Boost status. If22-45 Setpoint Boost is not set, the frequencyconverter enters sleep mode.2. After 22-46 Maximum Boost Time, the frequencyconverter ramps the motor speed down toparameter 1-82 Min Speed for Function at Stop [Hz].3. The frequency converter activates 1-80 Function atStop. The frequency converter is now in sleepmode.4. When error between reference and feedback isgreater than 22-44 Wake-Up Ref./FB Diff, and thecondition last more thanparameter 22-41 Minimum Sleep Time, thefrequency converter is out of sleep mode.5. The frequency converter reverts to close loopcontrol.NOTICESleep mode is not active when local reference is active(set speed manually with navigation keys on the LCP).Does not work in Hand-mode. Auto set-up in open loopmust be carried out before setting input/output in closedloop.22-40 Minimum Run TimeRange: Function:10 s* [0 - 600 s] Set the desired minimum running time forthe motor after a start command (digitalinput or Bus) before entering sleep mode.22-41 Minimum Sleep TimeRange: Function:10 s* [0 - 600 s] Set the desired minimum time for staying insleep mode. This overrides any wake-upconditions.22-43 Wake-Up Speed [Hz]Range: Function:10* [ 0 - 400.0 ] Only to be used if 1-00 Configuration Mode, isset for open loop and speed reference isapplied by an external controller. Set thereference speed at which the sleep modeshould be deactivated22-44 Wake-Up Ref./FB DiffRange: Function:10 %* [0 -100 %]Only to be used if parameter 1-00 ConfigurationMode is set for closed loop and the integratedPI controller is used for controlling the pressure.Set the pressure drop allowed in percentage ofsetpoint for the pressure (Pset) before cancellingthe sleep mode.22-45 Setpoint BoostRange: Function:0%*[-100- 100%]Only to be used if parameter 1-00 ConfigurationMode, is set for closed loop and the integrated PIcontroller is used. In systems with e.g. constantpressure control, it is advantageous to increasethe system pressure before the motor is stopped. This extends the time in which the motor isstopped and help to avoid frequent start/stop.Set the desired overpressure/temperature inpercentage of setpoint for the pressure (Pset)/temperature before entering the sleep mode.If setting for 5%, the boost pressure is bePset*1.05. The negative values can be used for e.g.cooling tower control where a negative change isneeded.22-46 Maximum Boost TimeRange: Function:60s*[0 -600 s]Only to be used if parameter 1-00 ConfigurationMode is set for closed loop and the integrated PIcontroller is used for controlling the pressure.Set the maximum time for which boost mode isallowed. If the set time is exceeded, sleep mode isentered, not waiting for the set boost pressure tobe reached.Parameter Descriptions Programming Guide104 Danfoss A/S © Rev. 2014-03-31 All rights reserved.
