94 Installing and removing sled componentsNOTE: You must remove the SSD cage to replace a faulty SSD cage or service other components inside the system.1 Followthesafetyguidelineslistedinthe Safetyinstructions section.2 FollowtheprocedurelistedintheBefore workinginside yoursystemsection.3 Keep the Phillips #1 screwdriver ready.Steps1 Align the slots onthe sides of the SSD cage withthe guide pins on the chassis.2 Push the SSD cage into the chassis until the screwholes on the chassis are aligned withtheholesonthe SSDcage.3 Slide the SSD cage into thechassis till the IDSDM card connector engages completely withthe connector onthesystem board.4 Secure the SSD cage to the chassis with the screws.Figure 39.
