12ENGLISHENGLISHEasy Setup and Operation Easy Setup and OperationInserting the batteriesq Remove the remote control unit’s rearcover.w Set two R6P/AA batteries in thebattery compartment in the indicateddirection.e Put the rear cover back on.Notes on batteries:• Use R6P/AA batteries in the remote control unit.• The batteries should be replaced with new onesapproximately once a year, though this dependson the frequency of usage.• Even if less than a year has passed, replace thebatteries with new ones if the set does notoperate even when the remote control unit isoperated nearby the set. (The included battery isonly for verifying operation. Replace it with a newbattery as soon as possible.)• When inserting the batteries, be sure to do so inthe proper direction, following the “<” and “>”marks in the battery compartment.• To prevent damage or leakage of battery fluid:• Do not use a new battery together with an oldone.• Do not use two different types of batteries.• Do not short-circuit, disassemble, heat ordispose of batteries in flames.• Remove the batteries from the remote controlunit when you do not plan to use it for anextended period of time.• If the battery fluid should leak, carefully wipe thefluid off the inside of the battery compartmentand insert new batteries.• When replacing the batteries, have the newbatteries ready and insert them as quickly aspossible.AC outlets (wall)AC 230 V, 50 HzThe S-101 includes a built-in clockfunction, so plug its power supplycord into a wall AC outlet towhich electricity is suppliedconstantly.DSW-S1011 Power supply cord2Connecting the power supply cord
