Network ConnectionsThe remote keypad is connected to the network terminals locatedat the bottom left hand side of the PCB.2. Address SelectionEach remote keypad must be assigned a different address usingthe Address selector. Move the jumper to the required position 1,2, 3 or 4.3. Tamper SwitchThe lid tamper for each remote keypad can be enabled ordisabled if required. Please refer to page 27 for further details.4. Piezo SounderThe piezo sounder generates low level alarm, key press, andwarning tones. Each type of tone can be enabled or disabled foreach remote keypad, please refer to page 28 for further details.Wiring Detection DevicesThe EC-P50 provides 10 zones for connecting detection devicessuch as movement sensors and magnetic door contacts. Eachzone is fully programmable to allow for maximum flexibility (seepage 19 for Zone Programming details). The program options fora zone will also determine how the zone may be wired. Thefollowing wiring options are available:Normally ClosedThis wiring configuration should be used when connectingdetection devices that only have a normally closed alarm output.Connect the detector as shown below and ensure that the zone isprogrammed for “Normally Closed” operation, see page 20.ZyZx ComAlarm1 DetectorAlarmAlarm2 DetectorsNormally OpenThis wiring configuration should be used when connectingdetection devices that only have a normally open alarm output.Connect the detector as shown below and ensure that the zone isprogrammed for “Normally Open” operation, see page 20.ZyZx ComAlarm1 Detector2 DetectorsAlarmAlarm |
