CHAPTER 5: SETTINGS PRODUCT SETUPM60 MOTOR PROTECTION SYSTEM – INSTRUCTION MANUAL 5-955Figure 5-32: Control pushbuttons (enhanced faceplate)An additional four control pushbuttons are included on the standard faceplate when the M60 is ordered with the 12 user-programmable pushbutton option.Figure 5-33: Control pushbuttons (standard faceplate)Control pushbuttons are not typically used for critical operations and are not protected by the control password. However,by supervising their output operands, the user can dynamically enable or disable control pushbuttons for security reasons.Each control pushbutton asserts its own FlexLogic operand. Each operand need to be configured appropriately to performthe required function. Each operand remains asserted as long as the pushbutton is pressed and resets when thepushbutton is released. A dropout delay of 100 ms is incorporated to ensure fast pushbutton manipulation is recognizedby various features that can use control pushbuttons as inputs.An event is logged in the event record (as per user setting) when a control pushbutton is pressed. No event is logged whenthe pushbutton is released. The faceplate keys (including control keys) cannot be operated simultaneously—a given keymust be released before the next one can be pressed.Figure 5-34: Control pushbutton logicControl pushbuttons842813A1.CDR842733A2.CDRPICKUPALARMTRIPTEST MODETROUBLEIN SERVICESTATUSUSER 3USER 2USER 1RESETEVENT CAUSENEUTRAL/GROUNDPHASE CPHASE BPHASE AOTHERFREQUENCYCURRENTVOLTAGETHREESTANDARDCONTROLPUSHBUTTONSUSER 7USER 6USER 5USER 4FOUR EXTRAOPTIONALCONTROLPUSHBUTTONS842010A2.CDRCONTROL PUSHBUTTON1 FUNCTION:SYSTEM SETUP/BREAKERS/BREAKER 1/BREAKER 1 PUSHBUTTON:CONTROLSYSTEM SETUP/BREAKERS/BREAKER 2/BREAKER 2 PUSHBUTTON:CONTROLSETTINGSETTINGSTIMER FLEXLOGIC OPERANDEnabled=1Enabled=1When applicableEnabled=1RUNOFFONAND100 msec0 CONTROL PUSHBTN 1 ON{
