All otherservicing should be referred to a qualifiedtechnician.• Before performing any service, DISCONNECTTHE RANGE POWER SUPPLY AT THEHOUSEHOLD DISTRIBUTION PANEL BYREMOVING THE FUSE OR SWITCHING OFFTHE CIRCUIT BREAKER.• Do not leave children alone--children shouldnot be left alone or unattended in an areawhere an appliance is in use. They shouldnever be allowed to sit or stand on any partof the appliance.° Children in walkers, or children crawling, canbe attracted to the oven door handle andmay grab and open the oven door. This canresult in injury from the door being pulled openon a child, or severe burns if the oven is in useand hot.• Do not allow anyone to climb, stand or hangon the door, control panel or cooktop. Theycould damage the range and even tip it over,causing severe personal injury.• Do not store flammable materials in theoven or near the cooktop.• Do not store plastic, flammable liquids orcombustible materials on top of the optionalhigh shelf.• CAUTION: ITEMS OF INTEREST TO CHILDRENSHOULD NOT BE STORED IN CABINETSABOVE A RANGE OR ON THE BACKSPLASHOF A RANGE--CHILDREN CLIMBING ONTHE RANGE TO REACH ITEMS COULD BESERIOUSLY INJURED.• Never wear loose-fitting or hanginggarments while using the appliance. Becareful when reaching for items stored overthe range. Flammable material couid beignited if brought in contact with surfaceburners, burner grates or oven heatingelements and may cause severe burns.° Use only dry pot holders--moist or damppot holders on hot surfaces may result inburns from steam. Do not let pot holderstouch surface burners, burner grates oroven heating elements. Do not use a towelor other bulky cloth.• When surface cooking, do not touch surfaceburners, burner grates, grill or griddle (onsome models)or the surrounding areas.When using the oven, do not touch theoven heating elements, the interior surfaceof the oven or the exterior area immediatelysurrounding the door or back trim.These surfaces may be hot enough to burn.During and after use, do not touch, or letclothing or other flammable materials contact,the surface burners, grill or griddle (on somemodels), areas near the surface burners or anyinterior area of the oven; allow sufficient timefor cooling first.Potentially hot surfaces include the cooktop,areas facing the cooktop, oven vent opening,surfaces near the opening, crevices around theoven door, metal trim parts above the door orany backguard or high shelf surface.CA UT I0 N: Theinsidesurfaceoftheoven may be hot when the door is opened.Keep the ventilator hood and grease filtersclean to maintain good venting and to avoidgrease fires. Turn the ventilator OFFin caseof fire or when intentionally "flaming" liquor orother spirits on the cooktop. The btower,if in operation, could spread the flames.Cook meat and poultry thoroughly-meatto at least an INTERNALtemperature of160°F and poultry to at least on INTERNALtemperature of 180°F. Cooking to thesetemperatures usually protects againstfoodborne illness.
