Use visual sightings, and steer to avoid land, shallowwater, and other dangerous objects.NOTE: Auto Guidance is available with premium charts, in some areas.Before you can navigate to a waypoint, you must create a waypoint.1 From a Nav. chart or 3D chart view, select MENU > Marks, Wpts &Tracks > Marks & Waypoints.2 Select a waypoint.3 Select Navigate To.4 Select an option:• To use Auto Guidance, select Auto Guidance.• To navigate directly to the location, select Go To.• To create a route to the location, including turns, select Route To.5 Review the course indicated by the magenta line.NOTE: When using Auto Guidance, a gray segment within any part of themagenta line indicates that Auto Guidance cannot calculate part of theAuto Guidance line. In the center of the magenta line is a thinnerpurple line that represents the corrected course from your current locationto the destination. The corrected course is dynamic, and it moves withyour boat when you are off course.3 Follow the magenta line, steering to avoid land, shallow water, and otherobstacles.4 If you are off course, follow the purple line (corrected course) to go to yourdestination, or steer back to the magenta line (direct course).
